Paralyzed Veterans of America - Wisconsin Chapter (PVA-WI) is proud to announce the partnership with DVNF (Disabled Veterans National Foundation)
“Paralyzed Veterans of America has made such an impact on the lives of wounded and injured veterans, and DVNF is honored to be able to contribute to their life changing efforts,” said Joseph VanFonda (USMC Sgt Maj Ret., CEO of Disabled Veterans National Foundation).

Facebook Portals will be given to 100 PVA-WI members connecting them to peers, family, friends and medical providers while remaining home during the current COVID-19 pandemic. PVA-WI members are high risk for COVID-19.

PVA-WI holds weekly video conferences with the Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) healthcare professionals at the Milwaukee VA Hospital to keep members informed on COVID-19 and other health related topics. Video conferences are also used for exercise classes, yoga classes and other health care associated issues. Bringing these conferences to our members is a top priority.

Another benefit of the Facebook Portal is that it provides a hands-free method for our members to connect using Alexa technology. By distributing the devices to all of our members, PVA-WI is ensuring that its members stay connected to medical care and treatment on a regular basis during this current crisis and beyond.

Donations can be made via our “Text To Give” program by texting PVAWI to 88793 or by visiting the website at https://www.wisconsinpva.org and using the donation link. Donations can also be mailed to our office address below. Your generosity will help our veterans during these unprecedented times.
