SkyHigh Mount Dandenong, Melbourne’s premier mountain dining experience, are proud to announce their new produce store and takeaway menu. Changes to the menu and the operation of the business come as part of efforts to provide a valuable service to people in the area during lockdown. Visitors will be able to order takeaway coffee and food, buy fresh produce from the produce store and wander the SkyHigh gardens and maze in Melbourne.
The newly established produce store will sell items like fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs, rice, pasta and sauce, toilet paper and paper towel, as well as a range of house-made and frozen foods such as scones, marinated olives, pies and sausage rolls. There are also items available for those with allergies, upon request. Additionally, SkyHigh’s full takeaway menu will be available, with takeaway being served during opening hours from 9:15am to 7:00pm. This menu can be viewed on their website.
Until SkyHigh can resume normal operations, they will be providing their service like this. Visitors will be asked to adhere to social distancing rules and pay via card rather than cash so as to limit contact. Surfaces are being regularly sanitised in café and restaurant areas to further limit the possibility of infections. “We’ve gone to great lengths to ensure people can feel safe in our space, propping doors open to minimise contact and sanitising surfaces,” said SkyHigh General Manager Richard Pitts when asked about the changes. “We’re trying to make it as easy as possible for people to enjoy our garden spaces during these times and still get the same great service SkyHigh is known for.”
