When the onset of Covid-19 began, the USA quickly found itself with a supply chain problem when it came to PPE products such as face masks. Prior to Covid-19, almost all of these products were imported from China, until a virus hit the world…that originated from China. PuraVita aims to bring the manufacturing of these items back to the USA, forever.

Lindon, UT – Feb 11th, 2021 – PuraVita Medical made international headlines as they announce the opening of a new PPE face mask manufacturing facility based out of Lindon Utah. The benefits of this move are far and wide reaching, as it will not only provide lifesaving MADE IN USA PPE MASKS, but it will also provide much needed jobs for the locals of Lindon. PuraVita’s mission is to save lives, re-shore American jobs and help American become independent for its PPE needs.

PuraVita is a Utah-based mask manufacturing company wholly owned and operated by Americans. The management team has over 100 years of combined experience with supply chain management, manufacturing, and the building of successful companies. The Company recently started production of 3ply ASTM level 2 and level 3 masks and USA KN95 masks with the current capacity to produce 6 million masks per month. PuraVita recently submitted its application to NIOSH and after receiving approval will start producing N95 respirators.

During a recent interview, Darin Long, the CEO of PuraVita was quoted as saying, “When Covid hit the United States in the Spring of 2020, I saw the supply chains in China break like never before and realized as an American I needed to help reshore essential goods like PPE so the United States would not have to depend on foreign countries for goods that threaten its actual sovereignty. I am really proud to have built a mask manufacturing plant in the United States and especially Utah where the workforce is excellent. PuraVita’s mission is to save lives, reshore American jobs, and help America become independent for its PPE needs.”

He went on to say, “The company has plans to hire upwards of 100 people by the end of 2021. We love the people of Utah and their work ethic. We are excited to build our first factory here and look forward to expanding here in the near future.”
