Jones brings Freakshow, one of the most enthralling American horror comedy Anthologies of its time. Freakshow is normally a display of people or animals with unusual or grotesque physical features, as at a circus or carnival sideshow. An exhibition of biological rarities, referred to in popular culture as “freaks of nature”. Typical features would be physically unusual humans, such as those uncommonly large or small, those with intersex variations, those with extraordinary diseases and conditions, and others with performances expected to be shocking to viewers. Heavily tattooed or pierced people have sometimes been seen in freak shows, (more common in modern times as a side show act) as have attention-getting physical performers such as fire-eating and sword-swallowing acts. The Freakshow is now available on YouTube for people to enjoy it alone with popcorns or watch it with friends and loved ones in their leisure time.
Each episode of the webseries brings a unique story for the viewers to watch and get entertained. The first episode of Freakshow revolves around a unique animated character, Kobe Johnson, whose personal life has become a turmoil. With Kobe’s printing press company facing bankruptcy and the character is left without a girlfriend who chose to go for Kobe’s partner a few years earlier; the main character has become a drug addict. What’s worse is Kobe accidently hits a person while driving but managed to escape. This series of events now haunts the main character, and as the story unravels, the plot becomes more interesting, with many more mysteries yet to come.
Episode 2 of Freakshow depicts an 18 years old teenage boy, Grace, whose mother introduces the girl to the new father. Grace has a heated argument with the mother, and unable to control the temper and feeling of neglect, Grace throws a vase at the mother. Grace’s mother falls on the floor and starts bleeding. The accident sends chills down Grace’s nerves, who then takes the car in an attempt to escape the scene and runs away. But alas, the amateur driver loses control of the car, and it crashes into a tree. The episode then becomes more interesting when Grace, ending up alive, leaves the car and runs it to the misty forest.
