CASTLE ROCK, Colo. – Aug 18, 2021 – HEI Civil, a leading heavy civil construction general contractor based in Castle Rock, Colo., hosted an outdoor grand opening celebration of their new 16,000 square foot office on location on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021. The celebration included catering from Kompass Kulinary; speeches from HEI Civil’s chief executive officer and cofounder, Dan Hudick, Kompass Kulinary owner, Nate Lawrence, and the mayor of Castle Rock, Jason Gray; and a tour of the space from Dan Hudick. Other notable attendees included County Commissioners Abe Laydon, George Teal and Lora Thomas, Rick Stucy, Trail Star Development’s chief executive officer and founder, and Bill Hudick, cofounder of HEI Civil.
HEI Civil’s new office space confirms their longstanding commitment to Castle Rock and Douglas County. The 16,000 square foot office space is in addition to the 10,000 square foot building that HEI Civil already occupies in Castle Rock, where the company has been headquartered for the last 48 years.
“I have a connection with Douglas County. We’ve been here for all our business lives. Castle Rock has managed to maintain something special about itself,” said Dan Hudick, chief executive officer of HEI Civil. “Douglas County and Castle Rock really value our relationship.”
In the new building, HEI Civil occupies over 10,000 square feet with Trail Star Development and LOVE Restaurant Group occupying 4,000 square feet on the second floor. The building offers stunning panoramic views of the Front Range, four patio balconies on the second floor and meeting and event space that seats 45. The building also boasts an air purification system that reduces allergens and significantly reduces molds, bacteria and viruses, including the COVID-19 virus. The building was designed by TriForm Architecture with Colorado-based PCS Group acting as the site development planner and landscape designer. Trail Star Development constructed the building; Archer and Associates was the civil engineer for the project.
