Sushi Consumption Eclipses Other Cuisines As One of the Most Popular Choices for Americans.

Sushify, the first and only at-home sushi meal kit, launches nationwide, demystifying the art of making restaurant-quality sushi from the comfort of home.

The bevy of meal kit e-commerce offerings continues to see more innovative concepts exploring diverse cuisines and experiences for enhancing at-home meal creation.

Sushi has been primarily consumed as dine-in or takeout and delivery mostly because of difficulty in shopping for hard-to-find sushi ingredients for most people.

Sushify launched earlier this year when e-commerce executive and founder Kent Scholla began noticing his favorite neighborhood sushi restaurants closing down due to COVID restrictions in New York City. His family began ordering online meal kits to help with dinner planning. “But what we really wanted was the experience and fun of meal kit, but for sushi,” says Kent Scholla, founder of Sushify. “Even in New York City, I found it challenging to get sushi-grade fish and obscure sushi ingredients on my own. I tried to find a sushi meal kit and realized there wasn’t one in the market, so I created one!”

Sushify launched in January and offers three different sushi box experiences for singles, couples, families, or groups of friends and ships to thousands of customers in the continental US.

About Sushify Meal Kits is an e-commerce company focused on delivering unparalleled, monthly sushi meal kit experiences to sushi lovers across the United States.
