White III Institute is pleased to announce its collaboration with the Feagin Leadership Program at Duke University Medical Center to launch a national survey of BIPOC young adults aged 18-25 about their healthcare awareness. The Feagin Fellows’ survey focuses on: health status, healthcare experiences, health literacy, access to healthcare, and awareness of their family members’ medical history. The survey will help us better understand what young adults think about their healthcare so we can develop strategies to address any disparities and to improve their life-long journey through the healthcare system.

Founded in 2020, the Augustus A. White III Institute for Healthcare Equity is an IRS 501(c)(3) Massachusetts non-profit organization. The Institute is inspired by the life and experiences of world-renowned orthopedic surgeon and medical educator Dr. Augustus A. White III.
