Northeast Tool & Manufacturing recently added a DMG Mori DMC 85 FD monoBLOCK machine to their North Carolina facility. This state-of-the-art platform offers 5-Axis simultaneous machining with integrated high speed mill-turn capabilities. The machine is equipped with a Rotary Pallet Storage (RPS) system that offers flexible 800mm pallet automation. A 20,000 RPM speedMASTER spindle, Siemens 840D control, and CELOS interface support maximum process stability. A built in Volumetric Compensation System (VCS) sets the machine tool apart by automatically compensating for any spatial errors in the machining area to ensure consistent accuracy during setup.
