San Diego Sprint Releases Head Coach

San Diego, CA – July 2, 2021 – The San Diego Sprint Women’s Pro Basketball Team announced they have released Mark Hadden as General Manager and Head Coach so that he may pursue other opportunities. If you Google Mark Hadden you will see his more than 30 plus years of accomplishments. The organization wishes him the best in all his future endeavors.

The organization is currently in discussions with other potential coaches. The position of General Manager will be temporarily filled by the CEO, Elizabeth Canal-Reitz until further notice. Elizabeth is a native San Diegan who graduated from east county’s Mt Empire Jr./Sr. High School and went on to earn both her BA and MS at San Diego’s National University. The organization has no doubt she will do an excellent job fulfilling the duties of General Manager while still serving as the organization’s Chief Executive Officer.

Although this is a sad loss to the Sprint, San Diego County can rest assured that the Sprint Women’s Pro Basketball Team will continue to work hard for this upcoming season and make a positive impact on San Diego through sports and community service.

Come see San Diego’s WABA Women’s Pro Basketball Team, the season launches July 24, 2021. All home games will be played at The Salvation Army Kroc Center, 6845 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92115. Tickets will be available soon on www.sandiegosprint.com
